Brookfield Residential’s Alberta team is redefining what Net Zero construction looks like in Calgary’s growing communities. In the award-winning community of Seton, the team proved that high-performance homes don’t require custom materials or specialized trades.

Brookfield Residential is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with veritree that will result in the planting of 13,600 trees to support reforestation efforts in Northern Alberta. With National Forestry Week underway in Canada, the timing felt right to share this commitment.

 When designing the park, the Brookfield Residential team was intentional about honouring the past, creating a place for reflection today, and planning for the future. Sustainability—not just aesthetics—guided their choices. Rather than planting traditional grass, they selected clover as a low-maintenance, environmentally friendly alternative that supports biodiversity and aligns with future-focused landscaping practices.
