This after-market custom “pop out” niche defines the Goodwin’s dining area. We added recessed puck lights to shine a spotlight on art and accessories. An accent paint color or a built-in bookcase could also add a similar layer of interest.

Wood I Ever

Our designers wrapped door openings in stain-grade white oak to create an extra dramatic transition that helps carry the casual cool California vibe throughout the home. While this feature isn't included with the home, it's easy to get the look after you move in.

Paint It Black

Paint is one of the most inexpensive ways to create a big impression. In this case, black eggshell trim stands out against white walls. This contrast trim isn’t part of the design package, but our designers chose it to create striking lines in the Owner’s Suite.

This Little Light of Mine

We chose special after-market lighting to convey the California chic vibe while still providing plenty of illumination for reading, dining, and entertaining. Custom lighting can be the simplest way to set the mood – and show your personal style.

Mirror, Mirror

Changing out simple plate glass mirrors for ones with distinctive frames or unusual shapes brings style and visual interest to small spaces like bathrooms. While these mirrors aren’t included with the home, there are lots of similar options available.

It’s Grow Time

Love lantana? Crazy for home-grown cucumbers? We added a custom pergola in the backyard, providing room to prep tomatoes and store tools so everything is right at hand. There are many similar options you could add once you move in.
